Baystack 470-48T password recovery attach terminal (note the DB9 has pins 2-3 opposite to Extreme) while powering on the switch, hold down Ctrl-C wait for a few bootup lines, and you will be presented with a few one letter commands. choose "i" and answer yes. this erases the config. select...- barto44883

Cannot change IP information via Console on Baystack 470

Cannot change IP information via Console on Baystack 470
When using Hyperterminal to connect to my Baystack 470 via console cabel, I cannot change the IP address or any other IP information but I can via telnet or web browser. I have tried factory settings. I have taken all passwords off and of course rebooting the switch.- barto44883
