Hi Experts, can I setup bootlist like this bootlist -m normal hdisk0 hdisk1 Where hdisk0 has my current altinst_rootvg and hdisk1 is my current rootvg. I want to do this in case my hdisk0 can't boot from altinst_rootvg. At least I can boot to my current rootvg. Thanks -
Cannot run a 64-bit program until the 64-bit
Have to re-install OS again as mksysb itself is corrupt. -
Alt_clone to current old_rootvg
Respected experts, I am rebooting from altinst_rootvg then run smitty alt_clone to my old_rootvg (troubled OS) with update to different tl. Should I run following command first reducevg -d -f old_rootvg hdisk# then do the cloning or it will erase automatically? Any suggestion? Thanks-NewB -

Thanks p5wizard. No luck with smitty restart64, smitty load64bit. Any application with 64bit won't work. It was ok before reboot. We had this issue once before and resolved by bosboot -ad /dev/ipldevice. Not this time. reboot manytime. Same issue. Working with vendor now. -
