256 RAM running a 98 system should NEVER have a sysmem problem.
What is the configuration of your RAM? Say 2 - 128M sticks, or 1 - 256M and if it is two ... are they of different brands?
Go to Start > programs > accessories > system tools > and run the maintenance wizard (after disableing...
You probably used a file cleaning program somewhere back in time and delete the install.log files for those two programs. Now the unistaller needs them to remember what files it placed out and where.
Try reinstalling the programs in question ... then uninstall them. Boot as necessary when...

Assuming you named your root folder something other than WINNT this time around Yes you may delete that folder. From advanced recovery under manager in Win2K you can set it to boot to the desired OS with a 1 second deley. Start-Up and Recovery section I believe. The boot can be fixed to...
Do you mean your office policy?
I am confussed. Once you create an additional guest account you can name it and password it any way you want. You can even name it "Administration" or something like that.
I do not have that problem, so I can not say either way. I know there is a check box that allows seperate settings for everyone (in essence) when you are setting up the user.
What I told you to do in the first place is use a "guest account" then ADD what you want ... that way you are...

That has a lot to do with it as well. There is NO space left for paging. I like to have 3 or 4 hundred meg free so Windows can "breath"
If Windows uses 10 percent of your free space, you are only able to manipulate 2 or...
Doug,
And I thought I'd at least get some sort of jealous remark out of you such as KMA for me being able to delete 104 Meg in under 7 seconds ... he he!
Your solution is a GRAND ONE!

Does it do it when you have ONLY one window open, then close it?
I will venture to say your memory on your video card might be going or something to that effect.
And perhaps a defrag of your hard drive might be in order ... do you have space left on there?
My guess ... LOL ... since it is a add-on to the system net, you have not given access to the others from the other terminals even though you gave access from the server (by default).
When you set them all up at one time this information has to be changed if you do not want to give access to...
Brett is right ... W2K can access the old stuff easily, even if you take out the drive, and install the new raw drive then later add the old drive on the IDE to retrieve the data desired.
What I would do myself ... use the old OS to copy all files to where you can get to them easily, say a MY...
