Not recognizing secondary master
I had a similar problem both on same channel you could try this worked for me cdrom as master and cdr/w as slave can not have the cdr/w as master- baddog3266

IDE CONFLICT
I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE IDE CONNECTIONS . IAM RUNNING ME, THE CONFLICT IS BETWEEN THE HDD AND CDROM HAVE RECENTLY INSTALLED A NEW HDD AND SHORTLY AFTER THAT HAVE NO CD AND ALSO A CONFLICT BETWEEN IDE 1 AND IDE 2 ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRICIATED THNX BADDOG- baddog3266
