Error during DTS Import
Ref "The import works when importing small text files (say about 10k) , but when I'm importing the 40k file, I am getting the error. " This doesn't make sense. Data is data, it shouldn't matter how big the file is. I would double check to make sure you are looking at the right row...- baddog1

T3le - yes you can filter the data you are inserting. Your where clause will work, but if you are only looking for one specific date, it is faster & easier just to do this: WHERE orderdate = '9/16/2003'- baddog1

That's a tough one. I know you can specify an HTML as a file SOURCE, but to navigate to a URL??? You can create a custom task using a DLL. It should be possible to write a DLL that will open IE for example and go to a specific URL. (I don't write DLL's so don't ask me how.) You can then...- baddog1
