Hi Guys When i try to do a quick erase plus I get an error msg reading Erase failed "Group already open" what does this mean and how can I get around it...... The tape is the correct tape.. We cycle them every two weeks.

Hi Guys Im new to arcserve. I have a problem with one drive. When the tape has loaded it still says (NO media). The other 4 drives are fine. Is there a log I can browse to look for any problems this drive has had and if so how do I access it .Maybe it needs a cleaning tape run through it ?

Hi all Ive had 2 months experience with TSM. Im running TSM windows and want to know is there a command I can execute that will tell me the current volumes loaded in the IO slots of our storage master. Instead of physically running down to check the slots. Regards

Hi all Im about to start a new job in two weeks. My new role is solely taking care of the remore backups on over 100 sites ie checking completion , backup/recovery etc. The current setup at my new spot does not use a GUI interface. Everything is typed in manually for checks etc. I want to know...
