Thank you. You are right. The startup needs an EXE to pass the wrkgrp parameter to. It works and will work with \\x:\dir\*.mdw syntax with no issue.- babydx

ChopStick, Thank you for the link. But I have that document. Using hard coded drive letters in the shortcut file will not work so i am trying to replace letters with what was shown below but no luck.
