Can this adapter be used on a system with no analog ports? I know there are 2 modes of operation, shared line or 2 independent lines, but does either mode actually require an analog line?
Thanks
When I worked for Avaya, we were told (Wait for it!)...
AVAYA
The peaks of the As reflect the upward thinking and ambition of Avaya
the open V and Y reflect the open and accomodating approach Avaya takes.....
The parallel lines between the letters signify working with each other and partners...
not sure if this may help or if I'm barking up the wrong tree....
have a look at page 3 of the trunk group form, this allows for incoming translations, you can specify translations for different call lengths here
just 1 more quick qustion if you don't mind:
I have now completed the patch install, but am now trying to update the firmware of the media modules (analogue & DCP)
The 711 is HW23 FW058, but I can only find firmware for HW20 on Avaya's support site; do you know where I can find the latest...
PBX Tech thanks for the quick reply; I can now run "update_show" but wrongly assumed that "sudo patch_install" would simply become "sudo update_install" this will not work, please could you give me the equivalent commands for
sudo patch_install
sudo patch_apply
please? I have not done this...

I think from r10 or maybe r9.5 onwards you can have a display incoming calls you have missed via msg retrieve
