I had this problem when I reinstalled 98, until a neighbor told me to put my old win 95 or disk in the drive, it's to verify for what ever reason you previously had a windows program installed prior to 98. Bottom line, that did thr trick, and the program loaded. Hope this helps.

I looked through the archives and had no luck on this subject. I can use it in safe mode, but it won't work in normal mode, changed no settings, the mouse just didn't activate when I started the computer this morning. Any suggestions on what may be causing this? Thank you.
