Besides moving the jumper or switch to clear the BIOS, taking the battery out, and removing the power cables from the motherboard, plus CPU and RAM, then counting to 30. then plugging them all back in again can all help. Regards, aspectz

could be a duff file. but also an error message you get from a hard drive on the way out. run a thorough scandisk, defrag, and backup. Does the error message have a number or mention a file? Are there any hard disk checking utilities in your SCSI BIOS? Press CTRL A on boot up to find out.
