Hi Scott
I have the same problem with the 7345 and 5645 workcentres, and PDF files with Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Pro. Problem is less pronounced with MS Office, but it is a problem with Autocad drawings.
The Adobe work round I found was to select the paper size and orientation you want from...

As I found googling previously. Quite a few good sites, but no actual manuals. But the PE bootable CD looks the way to go
I found this one via Google http://freepctech.com/pc/002/files010.shtml
You can download executable files that format a floppy and make it bootable in another OS...
Hi
I want to make a network boot disk. I saw on another thread someone wrote it isn't worth it anymore. This was from 2 or 3 years ago... I don't have a Windows Server running to make it easier though.
Has anyone got a link to an actual manual for these executables you have to put on the...
Besides moving the jumper or switch to clear the BIOS, taking the battery out, and removing the power cables from the motherboard, plus CPU and RAM, then counting to 30. then plugging them all back in again can all help.

hi dmw999
Just so you know. It was the webmail server here. There was a setting for "Forward Attachments". This was set to
DON'T FORWARD ATTACHMENTS
not that funny, after uninstalling and reinstalling, and so on.

Hiya
I have had a similiar problem with Outlook 2000 SP3. email attachments were not being sent to other people in the same office using either Outlook Express 5 or 6, or Webmail directly on to their email server. This outfit have an email server that allows access via webmail.
Yes, I did...
There may be a way of setting it to look to the loop back address 127.0.0.1 for all internet addresses. ie, the . or dot in .com. Should be able to set this in the hosts or services file or something.
Win2K servers can fail in this way. The entry of "." has to be wiped to fix it...
I had this. What a pain. I uninstalled Office 2000, then installed and ran the Office erazor utility ( free from Microsoft). Then rebooted, and reinstaled Office. It "remembered" my shortcut bar exactly.
yes, I know the /u switch unregisters it. See regsvr32/?. I tried
regsvr32.exe sendmail.dll /u
reboot
regsvr32.exe sendmail.dll
reboot
I also tried this with removing the registry keys you mention. Then replacing them inline with the regsvr32 command
Thanks anyway
Thankyou reghakr
I can see it is something to do with it, but it still isn't working.
I found that the regsvr32.exe sendmail.dll line with a /u switch added, removed the icon for the sendto desktop option. I could replace it by either running the same switch again (and rebooting) or adding...
could be a duff file. but also an error message you get from a hard drive on the way out. run a thorough scandisk, defrag, and backup. Does the error message have a number or mention a file?
Are there any hard disk checking utilities in your SCSI BIOS? Press CTRL A on boot up to find out.
I have a few Win95 PCs where the sendto folder in windows has this item there. Alongside floppy A: etc. I can delete and recreate the "send to desktop as a shortcut" icon, or even copy the item from a WIn95 PC where it does work, but all to no avail. See the Microsoft Technet...
check with Hercules and MSI to see if there are any compatability issues.
I haven't dealt with these companies before, but generally, don't expect them to admit there is a problem ( and their fault) unless they have a fix. Is the Hercules a much different spec from the other two
Also try...
