How do find a Serial # on a 1600
show version does not provide the serial no, it shows the serial no of the processor board. You need to check at the back of the router physically. Hope this helps.- asgharkhan

You did not mentioned completely your environment - first your have to draw a little sketch of your environment and then you decide from where to where you wanna go!! I belive you need to define static route on your server or pc. I hope that you understand it well! Best of luck!- asgharkhan
