No, the problem is still there after cleaning up in the startup list in msconfig. After closing WMP, the program reports "not responding" in the tast list, and the system hangs - totally. Has to be rebooted with the big button.
When I have run msconfig.exe, the PC hangs with a "kernel32" error message when I close msconfig, even when no changes have been made. Silly, isn't it ...? What on earth might this be?
I run Media Player 7.1 og Win98, and after closing the program it still is on the list in Task Manager. All too often it is "not responding" and causes the system to hang. And by the way, on the task list there are THREE lines with "Rundll32" - shouldn't there be just one...
When I look at folders, they display normally in windows when I choose View - Big and Small icons and List, but when I choose Details the folder window is just blank white. What may this be, and how can it be fixed?
