List of Junk Programs with descriptions
Open task manager up (shortcut key is Ctrl + Shift + Escape if you didn't know) Go to: http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist.htm and check everything that you're running. That will be a start and should remove any stuff that is actually slowing the PC down.- Arexack

Boot disk for NT?
As a little footnote (and as I'm trying for a Blue Peter Badge too!) I found a formatted disk through NT Explorer would not boot but a disk formatted from "Command Prompt" would. Never quite worked out why though (oh, you of course copy those files mentioned earlier over)- Arexack
