Make sure you login to the exchange server as the Exchange agent Account and then configure the exchange agent.
If you are able to expand the brick level and see the individual mailboxes the agent configuration can be skipped.
ARCserve.log is the Activity log which you find the Job Status Window. You can use the Purge option in the job status window to maintain the log or stop the job engine and delete the arcserve.log from the log folder and restart the job engine. This will create a new file.
