Thanks for your response. Yes we do have a session manager at this site, and my use of the term Direct SIP was in relation to the three "supported" integration methods with LYNC. I don't think the 488 error is indeed related to codec mismatch; we are using the same codec set to integrate with...
. Calls from CM are NOT getting to LYNC, and calls from LYNC are NOT getting CM; however, both Calls are getting to Session Manager.
First call:
Avaya x6012 (using 1x softphone) calling LYNC x36331: CM logs error 488 “not acceptable here” and denial event 1204 “Bearer cap not...
Thanks for the response. How do I get the TN servicing the dialogic to transfer instead of direct call? Currently the only difference between the Octel TN and the dialogic is Key 13 and 14 are blank on the Octel and on the Dialogic they are MIK and MCK.
Do you think, making the pilot number a...
Nortel option 11 with digital set emulating Dialogic dmg1008dniw with MS unified messaging as the end point.
Scenario: caller 617-880-0000 calls 646-572-8989. this is the first port (2616)of the Dialogic. The Dialogic receives the calling info (617-880-000) only. It should receive the called...
Thanks again Reusser:
Yes ACOD allows menu prompt access everytime.
Remember that users who experience the issue always hears the main greeting, can always select 1 to enter a meeting, and is either told the meeting number entered is not recognized or they are place into the meeting but...

These are tie T1'S all they do is deliever a caller to the Audio bridge. From there you enter prompts as requested by the Bridge. This is not working for me, when I access any trunk via the maintenance set. It just play the main greeting and ignores any further input from me. Is there...
I have tested all 192 ports and they all behave the same way which is, they all played the main greeting on the AUDIO BRIDGE. Does this proves that voice/speech path is not at cause?
Should I have been able to respond to the Menu prompts of the Audio bridge via the Maintenence set? e.g. press...
Reusser thanks for all you help so far. When you say speech path what exactly do you mean?
The main prompt/greeting that callers hear is on the Audio bridge, as is the prompts to enter the meeting ID and the response that the meeting ID is incorrect.
Maintenance sets usage: I am not familiar...
I should add that i gave the same scenario to a shared technolgies Nortel technician. Here is what he did.
Change PCDR in ld 22 PARM to NO. call register usage was giving priority to CDR trunks.
Check EOD on Route 27 and change value from 4096 to 8196.
Check TDS in LD 34; they all returned...
@trvlr1
Not a new setup although the last of 8 Tie t1's was added about 10 months ago. For a 192 channels, and over 9,000 conference attendees per month, It is intermittent at best. It has been experience by both internal and external callers.
@Reusser:
If true all 24 channels on that T1...
Some callers to our audio bridge experience dead-air after the main greeting is played. Others are told "the meeting does not exist" after entering a legitimate 4 digit meeting ID number. Audio bridge logs say it did not recieve DTMF when these incidents occured.
Routing as follows: Audio...
