In Windows device manager you can check to see which base port number is associated with the parallel port.
Example for Windows 98:
-Go to control panel
-Double click on System
-Select the Device Manager Tab
-Browse down to Ports (COM & LPT)
-You should see a list of LPT and COM ports here...

How do I get output strings from kdprint macro when used in kernel mode driver? I dont have a checked win2K build OS. The driver is compiled with debug options and has this kdprint macro enabled.
