I had problems similiary with some data ( i guess sniffer was shutdown with no mercy ) , so i noticed that date when it hangs and eliminated those day and imported rest of data
4 Port card -then most probably u are using Sniffer Distributed Probe....if this is the case the restart the agent by rebooting the box or by .... 'net stop dsagentsrv' from command prompt and start it bu 'net start dsagentsrv'

Well this EtherTypes are most like by Intel Adapters hearbeat signals (check you server/Workstaion Intel Adaptor setting)
I am 100% sure of 886D type is of Intel Enet cards's Hearbeat signal which should be disabled if not required

First of All when u Enable Encryption on Dial-up-adapter or
any network adapter , what happens is that all traffice passed by it are encrypted (do u really need it)
Secondly PGPnet Feature shows 'no host' becoz , NO VPN is configured and i think dont need it until u want to secure...
