manfishj, I don't know if this is what you're asking, but in the transition screen, you can choose to have the entire stage transition, or only those sprites that change. Double click on the tranistion, and this option will be shown to you. Hope that helps!

you could also double click on the tempo line (the first line in the upper portion of the score), and choose "wait for cue point", and select the mp3's end from the pull down list.

Is it possible to make the background of a text cast clear? I've got a project where there are going to be a lot of images, full screen. There must be a way to make the text visible, but the surrounding "white" space invisible. help! :)

Ok, I've been unable to get a hyperlink to work. So I created a flash button, thinking I could make that a hyperlink. Not so. Anyone have the lingo that would make the cast member that is my flash button, a hyperlink? Thanks in advance!

Another potential issue is if the quark file is being printed from another computer, and the image files have not been put onto the cD or the ZIP drive that contains the quark file to begin with. I unfortunately know of this problem because it has happened to me!

I have a presentation that I created in Director 8.0 and have just converted it to 8.5. I have a simple hyperlink to a website at the end, but it doesn't work now. I've checked the text inspector, and the link is correct. What gives?
