    Avaya internal CLI

    Hello, I have an extension that is configured with a name and a number. When we dial another internal number, both the name and the extension is diplayed on the called phone. How do you stop the number being sent? We are using 4621 phones, with a CM5 system.

    I have had this issue before, it was the firewall blocking the return traffic. As CSKabul said check what tcp ports are enabled on your firewall.

    It's internal. The "E" doesn't have the facility to accept a pri, so it is essentially an internal system hence the need for the "T". The link between the two is a virtual trunk. Almost all of our phones are ip phones on the "E", that go through the "T" to get to the pstn. thanks

    We have a Nortel 1000E with a 1000T for pri to the pstn. If i configure a clid table on the "E" and set the phones accordingly the calling DN is not appended with the CLID in the messaging between the "E" and "T". in the "T" pfx1 & pfx2 are configure 1202 and 66. The call from the "E" going...
