    installing AIX 5.3 using NIM

    I have Aix 5.3 Installed on a partition in a PL1650, and I want to destroy it and re-install AIX 5.3 using NIM. The SMS menus load the micro-kernel but hang with a code "0611" after 'AIX is Starting', never reaching the installation menus. Any idea why this is hanging?

    Port mirroring

    I need to put a sniffer on a specified port on the switch to monitor the traffic on my network. Is the BPS2000 or the BayStack470 capable of doing many-to-one port mirroring, i.e. can i mirror 23 ports on a single one? If no, is there any switch product of nortel that can do that?     Strange problem

    I have a stack of BPS2000 switches running the BOSS software, Version 3.1. I had reset the stack to its default config, but when I restored it I had only read access!!!. The initial read/write password won't work. Anyone else experienced similar issues?.
