Veritas confusion
I had exactly the same problem with a different drive. I never did figure out why I got the first message that said bad media. Every tape offered the same message until I rebooted. Then all the tapes were magically good. If rebooting is not a good idea try stopping all the Veritas services and...- alweisenborn
