Thanks for your help guys but I ended up doing a parallel install and copying the win32k.sys file over to the old O/S and then booting into that. Once in I uninstalled the update and have now sent out an email to all my customers to warn them of this!

I have a downed server - I am quite sure the file that is damaged is Win32k.sys - Windows update was unable to copy this file during a Windows Update. The file i need is in a directory on the d: drive called WUTemp but if i try and access it i get a "Access is denied" message. Help

Is it possible to create a view of a table from another Database. I'd like to be able to view the files but not be able to update them. We have a third party DB and would like to be able to use another SQL db to store all our info.

I need to add records to multiple tables but keep a relationship between them. The First table has an Autonumer Field and i need to take this and then add it to the next table I update. The traffic to the site is quite erratic so I can't use the Latest Row option. Thanks

I HAVE to connect to my win2k client printers from my Win2k server using UNC for D3 to work on our network. If i try to connect to it using UNC it just detects it as a win2k client and takes over. Is this possible???

When I start any Office application on one of my machines it loads with the splash screen, you see the blank new document, then it crashes without a trace, back to the desktop - no errors or anything just disappears from the screen/task list. Im using Windows 98

Okay I've managed to get Windows 200 up and running and allowing me to log in after AD install... Now the active Directory is listing "Default-First-Site-Name" as it name. How can I change this etc. It needs to be "CHALKADMIN.LOCAL" Thanks
