    We use Symantec Norton Anti Virus v3.0 for Domin / Notes (with live updates) and have now disabled it's "Scanning for email routing" option. This has so far fixed our problem!

    The servers that mails are being sent to are outside of my control, they are other organisations servers. Another weird thing is that I can send a trace mail ok, but any normal mail will be returned. I think that it may be my SMTP configuration.
