Sorry about lack of detail- When the report is being displayed on the report viewer screen, A runtime error has occurred. Do you wish to debug = Line 10 Error Object expected. I am thinking maybe script errors were disabled before.

Thanks for the reply The service on MachineA is running under local admin i was able to create a new SQL User(type Windows User) called Domain\MachineA$on MachineB. i did not give the user any database access. After this I was able to view the report.

Sorry for the delay in responding- i did not have privileges to change it myself so had to wait- BUT in the meantime due to other reasons we ended up having to re-intsall Crystal Reports 10 and the problem is now gone- I don't like not knowing but at least it works... thanks again -
