Adtran requires the system to be either an NI2, Dms100 or ESS4. Either of those requires the option 11 to be programmed as a DID. It was set up as an SL1 and tie and it worked great, but the customer wants fibre and wants to use adtran.
Have a Opt 11 rls 25. with a pri to a Norstar. Set up dchl with a IFC of sl1 and everything was all right. Customer wants to put fiber in and is using Adtran equipment. They want me to change the ifc to NI2. The Opt 11 has to be a did to use NI2. When we change both sides to an NI2, I can use...
I have an opt 11 with release 12 mer mail. They want a new menu set up. Everything works except when keying the # key, it should repeat the menu. It does work in the old menu but not the new one. I hate to delete the new menu and start over, because they had paid a woman to record the new...
I have had this problem before, and still have this problem. I have changed cards, forced downloads to tmdi, init switch but to no avail. The only way to get it up is to remove card, software disable dch and loop, insert card and enable loop.
This problem appears on two different opt 11's...
The span goes to a provider. The card is a TMDI card, in the first slot with clock controller. The trunks are set up as 2 way DID. The wiring seems solid in that I can move the wiring around and no errors. I think it happens when the provider messes with it. But my problem is that it goes...
I have had two option elevens have the same problem. The problem is, the DCH goes into ENLB AEST state. And all the channels on the pri goes into a MBSY state. If I try to disable the dch, I get this DCH1019 message, telling me the card is hardware disabled. All lights are green, and I...
Maybe the Lantronix will work. I have couple of customers that the modem is buggy on so will start with them.
Has anybody used this on a meridian and does it work okay?
I am about 1500 miles from my main office. I do work in about 7 different states from West to East coast. I prefer to live in the country and telecommute, which is why I need the local number. I might have to go back to land line and use .05 cents minute calls.
I don't think the customers would put their switches on ip. I went with vonage because no long distance charges and I could get a local number for a majority of the people I work with. The voice quality is good but I think the packet sending or echo canceling is making it go bonkers.
I just got vonage voip to use as a modem line to dial remotes into other switches. The problem I am having is the data would hang and would have to wait for it, or it would hang up. I E-mailed sportster about this and they said their modems are not made for voip.. Anybody have a work around...
Problem is when call pilot work station is dialing long distance for sending a fax, they need to send an authorizing id code for their carrier after they dial the number. At the moment they have to put in 17 commas to allow a long enough time for the carrier to be ready for the id. They would...
Will try and give some info on E&M signalling. Type I uses E&m only. M lead has ground on it and goes to battery when it goes off hook. E lead is open but is looking for ground. So if you hook M from near end switch to E to far end switch, far end will think near end is off hook. Type II...
