    Thanks Ken.. for your reply.As you have written two option , what i want to ask is Compare A1 to each cell in B1:B100, then A2 to each cell in B1:B100, then A3 to each cell in B1:B100, right down to A100 to each cell in B1:B100, simultaneously i want to delete the matched cell from one column...

    Dear, I have an spread sheet. In this there is colunm where it it written 'Yes', 'No' & 'spaces' I want to count number of yes and number of no and number of not written means spaces. Can anyone suggest me what fuction i should use to get my answer.
