We have wireless IP phones. We are having a problem and all my vendor can tell me is to make sure "multicasting" is "on" in my Cisco Aironet 1130 APs. I cannot find any documentation on this from Cisco, etc.
Anyone know how to turn "multicasting" on?
I have 6 VLANs on Cisco 3950s. I don't want the VLANs to route to each other. This is the way things work today. However, I have a PC (server) on one of the VLANs that I would like to be able to see from one of the other VLANs. I thought I could do this by adding a route at the command...
Cmeagan656 is correct: It was a reverse NDR attack.
We installed Praetor (http://www.cmsconnect.com/Praetor/prMain.htm) and we have not had a problem since, plus Praetor does a great job of filtering or virus infected email and all kinds of SPAM.

I have used an IP Scanner and it returns "dead" for the IP addresses in question,i.e., when I try to assign those same IP address to a Windows XP machine, the PCs indicate an IP address conflict with the supposed "dead" addresses.
I have a new client who uses all static IP addresses. I have gone to every device on the network, i.e., managed switches, PCs, Servers, routers, etc. and I have documented the IP addresses in use. My problem is there are several IP addresses that do not appear to be in use, but when I try to...

Sending faxes works fine.
Ideas how to fix problem?
We just installed Praetor (http://www.cmsconnect.com/Praetor/prMain.htm) and our Spam has been reduced significantly. It also stops Reverse NDR attacks. Tech support answered the phone within a minute and they were very helpful. They also give you the full product for 21-days to evaluate and...
I am having the same problem. In the Event log, there was a message about the mail service having over 25000 messages queued so it would not start accepting messages for delivery again until the number dropped below 15000.
We only have 8 users so you are probably already thinking what I am and...
NT 4 and Exchg 5.5 with sp2.
Pop email from domain and it worked fine for 3 years.
Emails are still being popped from the domain becuase I can see them come and go from the domain, but they no longer appear in the user's Outlook Inbox.
This just started yesterday and is happening to all users.
How did you ever fix this problem?
I just recently switched my Exchange 5.5 sever from ISDN to a cable internet connection, and now everyone gets the same errors you were getting, i.e., "unknown recipient error" and the 550 message about relaying not allowed.
The change in ISPs has cuased some...
Thanks for your feedback. Yes, I do realize that the normal growth of the DB could become a problem. I was more interested in a situation where you have, for example, a 1 GB db on a partition with 32GBs free and could it become corrupt and suddenly grow by a whooping 31 GB, thereby, filling...

Someone is telling me that I should not use a single "C" partition on my W2K Server, but instead should have a "C" & a "D" partition so I can install SQL Server on the "D" partition, then if the database becomes corrupt and "blows up in size" it...
