I have a couple of 9641G VPN phones at home that I used to support a remote customer who has now left Avaya in favor of Teams (holding my breath until they realize their mistake). However, I cannot figure out how to clear the VPN settings from these phones so that I can used them as standard IP...
Hey, I know that in order for 'Dial by Name" to work the user's name must be recorded. Is there a simple report that can be run to tell you who's not recorded their names in VMPro?

Brett: Thanks for your support. My onsite guy did exactly what you suggested; added the cabinet back in and removed it. After performing this task twice all alarms seem to have disappeared except for a CSS warning (something that we're still working on) but at least all major/minor alarms...
As far as I can tell, Yes. There are no obvious PN1 or cabinet 1 translations in the PBX. I say "obvious" because there's "obviously" something there that we must've overlooked.

The license is married to the serial number of the "Golden IPSI" so as long as that IPSI is not damaged then you should be able to reuse the license file. However, if the IPSI is toast you'll simply have to change the serial number of the license file to that of the replacement IPSI.

Well, it really makes no never-mind. As intrigrant said, it's little more than "a step-up" now. Nary a response. AT-X simply generates an "OK" response as if the system is playing Jack Nicholson's role at the very end of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" ... lobotomized. I anticipated this...
