Hello,
I've set up a few two node active/passive SQL 2000 clusters in the past but now a client is asking for a two node SQL 2005 active/passive cluster. I'm assuming this is still possible in 2005 but just can't seem to find any good resources related to SQL 2005 clustering. Can anyone...
Hello,
We run a small consulting business and we pondering the idea of offering a service around Active Directory and Exchange Server "Health Checks". Basically, spending a few days to go onsite at clients and peform an audit on the present state of AD and the Exchange environment. I was...
We're migrating from 5.5 to Exchange 2003. We did a pilot and the users noticed that in Outlook, they no longer see the address book views they did in 5.5. We have about 100 defined views in 5.5. Is there a way to automate migrating those views? I don't want to have to set them up manually...
Can someone tell me the easiest way to dump all the public folder permissions for both an Exchange 5.5 PF Hieararchy and an Exchange 2003?
We have a client who is still in mixed mode AD and can't use universal storage groups, meaning their permissions to PF's are at risk since they do both...
We're in mixed mode 5.5 and Exch2003. The Public Folder Hierarchy came over to 2k3 Cluster no problem (using pfmigrate.wsf /s /t /a). There are two Exchange 5.5 Public Folder Servers. The home server is ServerA and the second is ServerB.
Since using pfmigrate, anytime new data is placed in a...
Hello,
We're in the middle of an Exch 5.5 to Exch 2003 migration. We stood up an Exch2k3 Cluster. There are PF's housed on 2 Exchange 5.5 servers. I used pfmigrate.wsf last week and selected one of those two 5.5 servers as the source and the cluster as the destination. The replica was added...
So, under the home directory tab, set it back to the default.
Where can I find that index.htm file? Is that within IIS admin?
Thanks for the quick response
I would like to not have to specify the /exchange virtual directory when accessing OWA. I have a single Exch2K3 front end server. I went into IIS admin, right clicked on default website properties and changed the home directory tab to a redirection to a URL and specified /exchange and checked...

Yes, the SA resource is set to depend on S drive and T drive along with Network Name.
The MTA Cluster Resource comes online fine, no problems which is why I'm going insane
My MTA database path is:
S:\Exchsrvr\mtadata
S is the drive on the SAN dedicated to the mailbox stores.
I ran Mtacheck and it came back clean.
Should I be changing the path to something else? If so, how?
My Drives are:
C:\ OS and Exchange Binary
T:\ Trans Logs on SAN
S:\ DB's on SAN...
I have a mixed mode 5.5/2003 Org with two sites. Site A will be staying but siteb will have all it's mailboxes migrated to a new cluster in Site A.
I've set up the ADC with 2x two way CA's as we have two domains. When I create a new user in site b, and choose to add a mailbox to the cluster...
