A lot of the search engines I use say it can take up to 15 days to process a site... that's where I got my figure from, but I know from past experience it can take longer... in my experience though I've never had to wait 6 months. Adam

I'm not sure how long it takes for an editor to answer an emails, but as a rough guide you should give it 15 days before your site gets listed in search engines and directories. Adam

I dont know if this is strictly true with all RAM, but I have always been told that having more than 512MB RAM can do more harm than good to a computer - so try taking out the stick of 128MB RAM

Removing SFC (System File Checker) from the start up would temporarily resolve the issue, but not solve the problem.
Try removing any new software you've put on the machine.
Also, try running Dr Watson, this is quite a useful tool that not many people use, because they dont know about it...
I'm not sure, but to check, just send an email to yourself. Note what time you sent it to the outbox, and what time you actually send it... then check the times when it comes back to your inbox :) Adam

Did you have the same problem with Netscape or were things ok then?
If you have the same problem with both browsers, then email your ISP about it, its probably a problem their end.
If you didn't have any problems with Netscape, then try repairing IE and see if that helps. Adam

Did you have both the DVD-R and the CDRW both on the secondary IDE in your old case?
Did you try both these combinations on the secondary IDE:
DVD-R Master/CDRW Slave
CDRW Master/DVD-R Slave
Have you tried slaving either of the drives off the HDD on the primary IDE? Adam

Make a normal link... for example:
You want your visitors to be able to save products.html as a html file to their computer, so they can view the page offline.
Somewhere on the page, make a link as follows:
<a href="products.html">Products</a>
Remember to include the full directory...
Place the following CSS code after the </head> tag but before the <body> tag:
<STYLE type="text/css"><!--
BODY {
scrollbar-base-color: #FFFFFF;
scrollbar-track-color: #FFFFFF;
scrollbar-face-color: #FFFFFF;
scrollbar-highlight-color: #FFFFFF;
scrollbar-3dlight-color: #FFFFFF...
Glad I could help ;) - I thought at first maybe I was missing something in your original question lol but like Wullie said the easiest ones get the most time spent on them. Adam

I have the same problem with AVI files, Windows Media Player just doesn't like them at all, so I use the DivX codec and player: http://www.divx.com (dont know if its the same as the GDivX you're using) try installing that and using the DivX player to see if it helps :) Adam

If you want to improve your menu, why not try a DHTML menu? You can download Sothink DHTML menu creator from http://www.sothink.com/ and it's really easy to use and install to webpages! Adam

The only thing I can think of is somehow you'd installed a codec originally and now its not there, however, this site has a message board and all you could want for codec and avi/mpg problems:
