I am having trouble setting up my dial up connection on my HP Jornada 720....It has a built in modem but the problem is that it does dial in....but if I was to try to go to a web page it would display....a connection with the server can not established......I asked HP but they say it may not be...

still say 2000pro will not work with xp do i need someother software

tried to install 13 drivers and they dont install....for the modem......does anyone have this notebook with win 2000pro and had this problem......accourdng to acer it common....any help would be great i cant get on the web with it...thanks

well i reinstalled windows again like acer told me to.......I reinstalled the video,then audio,then modem driver all from ACER and so were the instructions....................and guess what same thing again.....no modem driver

yes i have tried my phone and it works fine.......My problem must be the wrong driver or it is not install how it should be

now that i installed the setup on the xp when asked to install xp cd onto 2000pro to open (set up home or small office network) a message pop up saying that wizard only supports win 98,98se,millennium and xp but it does not have 2000............now what?????????

it is the right number because i use it at home on my dell......weird!........thanks anyways for the reply Jenn

no luck i performed the driver update ....the modem is there but when i dial out it rings once then disconnects,,,,as if no answer or wrong number ??????????????????

once again i tried some more drivers the problem is that some will start to download and at 75ish percent complete it stops and closes....why is this happening
