Distro groups are the way to do this, but if that is not working you can create a rule for forwarding this mail, or just redirect it, to the users account.

Are all of the Machines at the same site as the server? What message do you recieve when you attempt to join the domain?

Paul; Have you setup Sites in Active Directory? Have you setup the DNS forwarders? Open the DNS manager, is this server listed as a Name server?

Are you trying to join this WS to the domain? Have you configured the IP settings? Is the Server running DNS Server, if so is the WS pointed at it?

Log on to www.mxtoolbox.com and run the diagnostocs. It will tell you if there are any problems with your MX record, DNS record, Blacklist, open relay, etc....
