There are GUI's for routers but usually are not loaded by default use CLI for Routers. Switches often have GUI loaded by defualt and can be hit via http://ip address.

Anyway I upgraded from 2000 to 9. Make sure your hardware drivers and firmware are up to date. I am getting about 1/3 better performance through NT/2000 client agents BUT the CPU Utilization on the box being backed up is MUCH Higher.
I only see it when the BU server cannot read form the client. Check through the logs and see if you get any odd messages then check on the client logs.
