    Arcserve v9.0 compatibility questions

Thanks for the reply Jamie. Yes you've confirmed what I was thinking - just didn't want to recommend an unnecessary upgrade to a client. Thanks again, Paul.

    Arcserve v9.0 compatibility questions

Hi, Will Arcserve 9.0 (build 2200) run on Windows Server 2008? If so is it supported? (I've checked the compatibility matrix and it states it will run on Windows Server 2003 SP1 - the matrix is dated Aug 2006 on the CA support site). Will v9.0 agents work with Arcserve 12.5 core product...

Failed to Login to the Agent

Even easier - I searched for "T2d2628" on the CA support site and brought me here: http://supportconnect.ca.com/sc/kb/problemdetail.jsp?docid=427160&productcd=AXWBAS&problemnbr=1935 It then says, Test fix T2d2628 is available and can be obtained by contacting CA support. Cheers!

Failed to Login to the Agent

Sorry Guys for not getting back sooner - I know how frustrating that can be! I was on Holiday all week in Prague. Anyway, I can't see any way of posting the actual .CAZ file here. Also Tek-Tips don't like showing Personal info so I can't post my email address. However, below is the contents of...

Failed to Login to the Agent

Hi, I have a Windows 2003 R2 SP2 Standard Server, running Exchange Server 2003 SP2. We back it up with Brightstor Arcserve 11.5 SP3. The backup is working fine, however when I create or modify a job from within Arcserve Manager I get the error "Failed to Login to the Agent". This happens when...

From Arcserve Manager click on "Help" along the top of the screen above the toolbar then choose "About". A splash screen will be displayed and at the bottom it'll tell you the version of Arcserve you're using, followed by the build number in brackets.

Arcserve 9 backup agent for exchange, loads of AT#xxxx.xxxx files??

Thanks Speshalyst. Funny thing is we've been running brick level backups for years now without the appearance of these files. It seems to be only since we upgraded our Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003 SP2. Does this cast any more light? Thanks for your replies by the way, all very much appreciated.

Arcserve 9 backup agent for exchange, loads of AT#xxxx.xxxx files??

Great stuff, thanks for the replies. I went ahead and deleted all 327,000 !! of these files. I noticed that these files aren't generated EVERY time a brick level backup takes place, only 9 times in last 4 months (we run a brick level every Tues & Thurs), but these 9 times produced 327,000...
