I have updated from SAV 9.0 to 10.0. for some of my clients, but I am still using the license file for SAV 9.0. I understand that I can update my license file from 9.0 to 10.0 as well, but is that really necessary?
So far I have clients running 10.0 with 9.0 license file and no problem occurs...

It is alright... I appreciate your obligation to reply lol
It is just that PBX seems to be a system that once you set up in the server room you really wouldn't pay much attention to it until it crashes (then that is a big disaster for most business).
Anyone feels free to add any...
kmcferrin and garebo:
Thank you for your comments. It is very valuable.
Currently I have two APC UPS 1500VA 865Watts taking care of all the servers. Because it's a small business so we have like three to four main servers protected by the UPS. That should be enough but I also connect my routers...

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry but it is actually running on Windows NT 4.0.
Is Windows NT ok or?
for UPS power outlets, both surge protected and battery backed up have surge protection right? I assume that the reason you would go for battery backed up outlet is that when...
Dear all:
I have a PBX running in my company but the system is fairly old (about 5 yrs and its running Win95 or Win98). Today before I came to my office my HR already called me and told me that the phone system is completely down. My first impression was that it was probably the power surge...

A summary to my understanding about EDI.
Accounting Software <-> Mapper <-> Translator <-> VAN
A couple things that I need to be aware of:
1) how good is the integration between my accoutning software with the mapping software? Complete integration is highly...
ALRIGHT GUYS
I found the solution.
According to some people's reply, it seems to be a URL Protocol string key absence that causes this problem. However, more tricky is how to set the URL Protocol string key correctly.

I have tried that and now the popups are gone. However, right now it gives me an error message saying "default...
Dear all:
something weird has happend to my computer. When I clicked on any email hyperlink, my IE windows would have like over 50 pops up windows and my computer basically just freezes there.
Has anyone encounter such problem? I am aware that in my registry, my "HKEY\CLASSES_ROOT\mailto" can't...
hmm... I have used both Norton 2005 and McAfee Home, and I felt that home edition anti virus may be working alright to protect your computer, it pretty much occupies fairy large amount of your CPU usage.
I would recommend corporate edition. A little bit more expensive but works way better...
I just received an mail from Symantec about free upgrade to SAV10.01.
Heard a lot issues coming along with 10.01, and I think perhaps before most bugs are tested and repaired, I would stay with 9.0.
However, in Symantec's mail, it says that the service life of SAV9.0 will end on Sep 30th...
Yeah, compressing is the way to go.
I did archiving on Windows Server and without my awareness of compressing the pst file, the file size got shrinked down, but this does not work in Windows XP Pro. That is why I am wondering whether I did something wrong.
Thanks for the replies =)
Dear all:
I am trying to archive my users' Outlook PST files by year. However, after I archved an archive file of 200 MB from a 1GB outlook.pst, my outlook.pst is still 1GB.
I do not see size reduction in archiving... I am not sure what I am missing... because I tried on my own desktop and it...
