I'm trying to set something up here.
We have two DSL lines as we have combined households. Here's the deal.
Router/Gateway A (192.168.1.1) is connected and DMZd to a Cisco RVS4000 VPN router. Computers can go on the net and life is good.
Router/Gateway B (192.168.2.1) when connected we get...
After researching on the web, I see the TN429 DIOD Pack can provide Caller ID.
Can this pack work on a G3v6i.03.2.239.7?
If so, any limitations/issues? If not, what options do I have for providing CID over LS trunks?
Thanks,
@sstren
Great find. But doesn't the NAM use a type III or are they one in the same?
Let me know if this does the trick for getting the speech recognition working.
Thanks!
@sstren:
I'm still trying to locate an additional MS-PEC card to enable this capability. I haven't forgotten about this yey, as it is on my priority to-do list.
From what I gather based on the experts above, this is all I need.
Quick question...
Can someone explain the TTI status in detail?
I did a <list config sta> and expecting to see some Us for unassigned, I see alot of t's.
When looking at the <cha sys feat> screen, I see Enable TTI set to Y. I haven't changed anything on this as there was a Wraning to see...
I finally had some time to play and log into the switch. Using Procomm+ as a 4410 terminal I was able to obtain it is a G3V6i.03.2.239.7
I was able to log in using the inads login. Can I tell what features are available by this login? I know I need the init login to add features, but I would...
Thanks billy for the reply. I guess I'll ditch the VT and use a PC with a terminal emulator then. I'll try those settings.
Does the Definity require a special pinout on the TERM to SAT cable, or is it just a standard 25 pin serial?
I'm starting to take on a little project of tinkering with a Definity switch to learn it. I've got several 7444s, 8410s, and 8434Ds I've accumulated over the years. Im going to be given a Definity switch (it is an SCC type) so I decided to play arounf with it. I can punch the 25pair tails down...
Curlycord:
I have confirmed that I do not have a PEC card in slot 4. I only have a PEC card in slot 1, hence the 16 channels. I guess I will need to order one and install. Then, I should have the option of enabling the Speech Recognition, correct? 2 Channels will be fine.
Also, where did...
Thanks Curlycord, I will see what slot my existing PEC card is in now.
Currently I have 16 channels and 64MB RAM on the NAM, so I think I at least have the RAM covered.
