well, are you sure that the drive itself supports dma? or any of the drives you have tried?

i have that problem too, and my guess is that its because win2k uses an autoplay and not an autorun file. its obviously supposed to be backwards compatible but my comp doesnt autorun any of my cd's and i made sure that this feature is enabled about everywhere.

when you change refresh rate or resolution your monitor often changes shapes. play around with these settings, they may have changed automatically. also play around with your gpu's settings, like device adjustment etc.

have you tried using a briefcase? create a new briefcase the same way you would a folder, and then follow the instructions on screen. its designed to do just what u want, an easy sync with laptops.
