    W32 Nimda.enc will not go away!

    Have you attempted to disable the system restore feature in Windows ME/XP then perform a scan using VirusScan? I was infected with the W32/Elkern.cav and found that disabling the systm restore then scanning removed it.

    Can't uninstall

    Downtime, did you manage to remove the pre-installed version yet? If not, which version came pre-installed on your computer or, if you do not know the version, more or less when did you purchase your computer?

    Anyone noticed a slow down after install
