Configure the clients for POP3. You can use outlook express or microsoft outlook as client s/w.

While configuring DHCP scope it you can enter the scope options like gateway, router, WINS server etc. You can modify the existing scope or delete that one and create a new scope for this.

OE Version may be the issue. Upgrade the outlook express in Win Me to ver6. Then you will be able to import the messages and address book from XP.

thanks for the response. but as i said earlier the ip address shown in hexadecimal code is not same. It keeps changing. There is no duplicate name on the network.
