Thanks for the advice... I came across a tech in Calgary who has done a successfull integration to an R8 system... turns out I had to disable DTR on the data module and increase the idle timeout for an Ack.

Yip I have the support notes for setting up the 8400B plus data module, everything is configured according to an Avaya best practice methodology, but I the PMS vendor has not integrated with an Definity R11 as such they have tried a few things and we have concluded the settings for the data...
