OK guys, the problem is solved. yes you read it right all my problems with the Explorer and the right click and aleft click is resolved.
The issue was, the right lick pop up menu was referring to a menu item that was on a network, hence it was taking time to refer to that menu from the network...
BTW i forgot to mention, i tried rebooting the s/m in 'safe mode' and 'last known good configuration' but nothing helped. and the s/m has almost 18Gb of free space.
and also here are few things i did and i noticed.
i remember installing a new font a while back. i uninstalled it.
and just so that you know this problem doesn't happen in the windows explorer alone. it even happens while right clicking a file in the desktop, basically anywhere.
not alone right...
Update :
Bcastner, i disabled MusicMatch from msconfig but still the MM option showed up in the SendTo menu.and in the AutoRuns utility there was no MM entry. so i just uninstalled MM and the menu option is now gone.
but no use. the problem persists.

i stopped the WIA service and tried no use.
I don't know what GoBack is but i don't think i have any software installed by that name.
As far as i know all the entries in the Send To are legit.

HI badfrog, i did check the perfomance in the Task Manger, the CPU utilization is normal.
Adware, Trend Micro, Microsoft Antispyware, HJT, tried everything. some of the antivirus software found some viruses, i got rid of them but nothing seems to help.
