Feature 62 = External page - Page External Speakers
Feature 63 = Page Internal & External - Page both SETS (plus zone choice) and External Speakers
Primarily used for 2 line display phones (M7310, M7324, T736e)
Feature 60 will bring up on the display:
SETS SPEAKERS BOTH
SETS = is for doing an Internal page to phones
SPEAKER = is for doing an External page to the page port for amplifier and speakers/horns
BOTH = is for doing an Internal page and External page to the page port for amplifier and speakers/horns
After you make an above selection you maybe prompted to enter a zone number, this will apply to SETS only.
There is 4 zones:
0 = ALL zones
1 = Zone 1
2 = Zone 2
3 = Zone 4
A phone is given a zone number under Capabilities programming in Administration and can only be in one zone.
SPEAKER will send the page over the external paging/speakers port on the KSU.
SPEAKER mode does not have "Zones" however the Amplifier you are using might have in which case refer to its documentation or system administrator as to how to enter zone numbers.
In most case if there is a zone module on the amplifier and would have zones 1, 2, 3 etc.
For both smaller 1 display phones (as well 2 line displays) you can bypass F60 and use just the short codes instead.
