Find and/or Replace: How to make Global Searches and/or Changes to your Database

This question comes up enough to warrant a FAQ.

I have had excellent results with a lovely utility named appropriately, "Find and Replace".
It will search forms, reports, modules, tables, queries, whatever you desire. You can save search criteria. There is also a facility to keep a log of the changes you make. Replacement can be confirmed for each instance or global (let 'er rip!!!)

If you suddenly realise that you've misspelled a fieldname, this utility is for you.
If you are looking for all instances of an object, this utility is for you.

The programmer, Rick Fisher, has versions for 2.0, 97 and 2000. You can purchase all three for under $50; separately they're about $20 each. They are available for a free 30 day trial period.

The website is http://www.rickworld.com

Rick's email is rfisher@rickworld.com
