Connecting to Siemens systems

Does anyone know if you can use a VOIP line to connect to the Siemens systems? by telcomsal

I am wondering if anyone out there uses a VOIP line to connect to Siemens systems (CCA). In other words can you use a Phone line that is provided by your internet provider to dial in and connect to Siemens systems. I was under the impression that VOIP lines do not work for this application. I currently have a AT&T POTS line that cost $96.00 a month to connect to my accounts. If you are able to use VOIP are there any special services that need to added or included to make successful connection. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
