What happened to Scriptics? When I visit scriptics.com, that name doesn't appear on the web page any longer? by lvirden
Posted: 17 Jun 00

During June, 2000, the hard working people behind Tcl announced
a (another actually) name change.  They are now called
Ajuba Solutions.  The same people are working on the same
projects; the name change reflects a desire to become
recognized for more than just a scripting language.

This desire comes at a time when Ajuba Solutions is
preparing to move more strongly into the Business to
Business solution arena.

Tcl however continues to live at Ajuba Solutions, with
a couple of staff working full time on Tcl, as well as
most of the rest of the technical staff using Tcl in
the company's product(s).
