A code 9 errors typically means that there is a permissions error with a custom stored procedure in use by the report; this error can also indicate that the store procedure is not the same version of the procedure expected by the report.

  1. Open Sybase (start -> run -> scjview)
  2. Log in as the DBA user.
  3. Double click on Procedures & Functions
  4. Locate the stored procedure in use by the report
  5. Right click, and select properties
  6. On the permission tab, click Grant
  7. Select report user (or all users if you don't mind) from the list and click ok.
  8. Click ok.
  9. Disconnect from Sybase.
