Microsoft: Access Forms FAQ

Access 2007

Where have the "more" controls in the toolbar gone? by genomon
Posted: 28 May 09

Reading in three different developer fora that the ellipsis (...) in the toolbox for more controls is gone, and so are the ActiveX controls in Access 2007, prompted me to write this.
They are still there, they just look different, like everything else in the ribbon.
In design view, go to the Design tab | Controls section.
The icon in the lower right corner, a stylized red "X", is where Microsoft has hidden them in this version.
