Creating a Mail Enabled Contact by markdmac
Posted: 22 Jan 08

Creating a mail enabled contact is fairly simple via the GUI but you might want to do it with PowerShell if you have a bunch to make.  Below is the code needed to do so.  Just replace the parts in red to match your user name/email and domain information.

New-MailContact -ExternalEmailAddress 'SMTP:mark@thespidersparlor.com' -Name 'Mark D. MacLachlan' -Alias 'MarkDMacLachlan' -OrganizationalUnit 'spidersparlor.local/Users' -FirstName 'Mark' -Initials 'D' -LastName 'MacLachlan'
