Posted: 14 Sep 04

When you are debugging ASP the basic error message are of little help. In Internet Explorer you can set it to show more information about the error, Such as line number, the actual error (Syntax Error, Out of Bounds Array, Illegal Assignment and so on) and the page name where the error occured.

Tools -> Internet Options... -> Advanced tab -> Uncheck "Show friendly HTTP error messages" (in the Browsing section)

Then Apply and OK.
