Remote Desktop shortcut customization by skiflyer
Posted: 2 Apr 04

I've found it's a bit of a little known fact that remote desktop takes command line arguments.  So, give an execute to

windows\system32\mstsc /?

To get a list.

As a quick tip, the most useful one I find is

%SystemRoot%\system32\mstsc.exe /v:<machine name>

In my shortcut such that I can make shortcuts to directly connect to a given machine.
